Embark on a journey as a solitary Shade, the final loyal servant of a monarch who once reigned over an underground realm. With the king's powers waning, he slumbers for 400 days to restore his former strength. Your duty is to remain within the subterranean palace until his revival.
From the moment you commence, a relentless countdown of 400 days begins - persisting even when you halt your play session and exit the game.
The onus now lies upon you to determine how you will navigate your solitary existence beneath the earth's surface. No need to rush, as time is abundant.
Choose Your Approach:

 <li>Opt for a passive style of play by initiating the game and returning after 400 days to witness the conclusion. Gameplay is optional, but remember, the Shade will be even lonelier without your presence.</li>
 <li>Delve into the caverns, gathering items for your cozy underground abode. Send the Shade on leisurely walks; though slow-paced, there's no need to hasten.</li>
 <li>Engage in literary escapades within the game by perusing classic works from Nietzsche to Moby Dick or have the Shade immerse in them. Keeping your mind occupied accelerates the passage of time.</li>
 <li>Defy the mandates of the king and venture towards the cave's outer reaches, embarking on a perilous odyssey into darkness...</li>
